How motorsport accelerates the development of new powertrain technologies and energies
Motorsport is as old as the automobile and the motorcycle themselves: from the beginning motorsport has been used to test new technologies and to demonstrate the manufacturers’ know-how. Today, as the road mobility industry is at a technological crossroad, motorsport is even more necessary as ever to test new solutions in extreme conditions and to speed up the process of development. In this roundtable we will ask the highest authorities in both automobile and motorcycle racing to share their views on how motorsport acts as a laboratory for innovation to accelerate the transfer of solutions to road vehicle technology, and how motorsport will contribute to develop clean technologies for the future road cars.
