eMobility boosts sustainability

At eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW, we are deeply committed to sustainability for several reasons. First and foremost, our planet is facing unprecedented environmental challenges, including climate change, air pollution, and resource depletion. As a leading event in the sustainable mobility industry, we recognize the urgent need to transition to cleaner, more sustainable transportation solutions.

The Biosphere certification is a testament to our efforts to minimize environmental impact, conserve resources, and promote social responsibility. By achieving this certification, we have demonstrated compliance with rigorous sustainability standards, ensuring that our event upholds the highest environmental and ethical principles.

At eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW we are very committed to the environment. We have eliminated paper from our event with digital initiatives such as the visitor’s guide in the eMobility app, the exhibitor’s guide through QR codes, or going from using paper lists for institutional and networking activities to using Tablets.

We have recycling points and there are bins to separate waste distributed throughout our showroom. In addition, at eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW we are dealing with a wide variety of topics with specific forums dedicated to sustainable transportation options such as the Automotive Forum, Air Mobility Forum, Urban & Micro Mobility Forum or People and Talent Forum.

Also, 65% of the common areas material is reused from other events, so that we don’t need to build and create waste in our assembling.

With the celebration of eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW we have an impact of 14M€ but we know that economic growth is not possible if this is not sustainable.

eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW is accesible for people with reduced mobility. Also, we offer in all our sessions written simultaneos translation.

With our Congress we promote and raise awareness to the industry to make an universal mobility in cities and private transport. That’s also sustainability.

And not only accesible but equal. That’s why we have partnered with AEMENER, a Spanish Association for Women in the Energy Industry,  to work together for women representation and equal opportunities in the industry.

The reason to be of eMobility Expo World Congress – MOW is to boost and promote sustainable mobility using green energies. But that’s not the only thing we have to say about green energy.

We have compensated the Carbon Foot Print with all our trips with Cabify.

We have also partnered with Renfe in order to offer a sustainable way to get to the event to all our visitors and exhibitors

Our providers are also committed with using green energy and reducing the impact. FYCMA has its own photovoltaic solar energy plant with 561 panels that generate approximately 155 kWh per year.  Inaugurated in 2008, its performance in recent years is equivalent to the amount needed to avoid the emission of 37 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.

Shuttles and buses are also available for attendees to share transport and reduce the carbon footprint
