Beyond the Earth: Why the Future of eMobility Starts in Space?
The future of transportation is no longer bound by gravity or geography. This talk explores the invisible link between space infrastructure and the mobility revolution on Earth and beyond.
We begin with the present, examining how satellite constellations and PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) services are already the backbone of terrestrial eMobility. We then shift our gaze to orbital logistics, discussing the evolution of space transport for cargo and crew, and the critical challenges of a crowded orbit—from service stations’ in space to the urgent need for traffic management and orbital debris removal.
Finally, we venture to the lunar surface and beyond, detailing the deployment of communication networks on the Moon and the cutting-edge surface mobility technologies that will pave the way for humanity’s first steps toward Martian mobility.
