Also, as the thermal engines will remain predominant in the world for a long time due to the 1500 million thermal vehicles on the roads of the world today (270 million in Europe), lowering the emissions of existing vehicles and replacing very old cars with more efficient ones could be very efficient. In this roundtable, experts from the automobile industry and fuel and energy producers will tackle these issues, discuss the potential future of the thermal engines and explain what they propose to the EU.
